According to the CDC's internal report in the above article, it states the following
Delta variant vaccine breakthrough cases may be as transmissible as unvaccinated cases
However, the Japanese TV station NTV and other stations reported the following.
According to CDC data, the risk of serious illness is reduced by a factor of 10 in people vaccinated against the delta strain. On the other hand, the risk of infection is only one-third. Comparing vaccinated and unvaccinated people across the U.S., the risk of unvaccinated people is eight times higher risk of infection, 25 times higher risk of hospitalization, and 25 times higher risk of death.
It is easy to think of this report as intentionally providing false information to viewers, rather than misinformation.
