What is the point of a Japanese person working in Japan?

It is considerably more advantageous to receive social security benefits if you meet the conditions for being exempt from income tax and municipal tax. In low-wage Japan, it is ridiculous to earn income through labor. This is because wages are cheap and not commensurate with the nature of the work. If the tax exemption threshold is exceeded even slightly, various other taxes are collected multiply, and the loss is often greater than the increased income. As a result, in today's Japan, if you earn wages through labor, it may be wiser to get a job that earns much more than the average annual income, or to work very little and receive social security. Non-regular workers who work long hours for low wages will not receive social security and will probably be poorer than those who do not work.
